EIN Quantum NRW is an initiative supported by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and an open quantum technology network of universities, non-university research institutions and companies. The network promotes visibility, awareness and enthusiasm for these future technologies. Through the targeted networking of science, industry and politics, EIN Quantum NRW recognizes trends and developments in quantum technologies at an early stage and sets the course in time. In this way, EIN Quantum NRW promotes both, scientific and economic goals and combines them in North Rhine-Westphalia under the one roof of an unique quantum technology ecosystem.

Q-PrEP - Quantum-Proofing European Public Administrations

Q-PrEP is to pave the way to PQC in the public sector:

• Raising & spreading awareness of QC capability to break encryption and of PQC as a counter measure
• Forming a stakeholders and expertise network of cybersecurity agencies, public services, technical experts, and of associated entities all over Europe
• Raising synergies between academic, public, and industrial members, fostering a European PQC community in structured dialogue
• Unifying the knowledge level regarding the challenge by QC for information security and the implementation of PQC schemes
• Consolidation and transfer into a comprehensive roadmap to quantum-safe IT in the European public sector
